”Welcome to Sweden” is a cultural introduction that gives newcomers and internationals just recently relocated to Sweden a solid basis for starting their new life. The introduction covers topics such as Swedish customs, traditions, history and intercultural connections. And of course – a proper introduction to a Swedish fika!

As a newly arrived to Sweden you face many strange situations and odd things that you try to understand. We will try to straighten out all the question marks and introduce you to Swedish customs, traditions, history and society to get more familiar with your new home environment. The aim of the workshop is to provide participants with a “cultural awareness” necessary for getting a head start and feel comfortable with life in the new home environment.
