DESCRIPTION:Join us for a free tour of our beautiful capital\, Stockholm on Sunday 8th of May! \nThis time we will walk through Kungliga Djurgården Royal park. We will meet you in front of the Royal Castle at 10 am to fill you in on the history of the Swedish Royals before hopping on a tram from Strandvägen to the Djurgården coastline. We will walk along the shoreline leading to the Wallenberg family house\, one of the most famous families in Sweden. From there we will walk to the furthest point\, weather permitting\, and then continue through the Royal Park towards the Royal Summer Palaces\, Orangerie\, and the Biodynamic farm\, Rosendals Trädgård. \nThe tour will end at 1pm at Rosendal’s\, where if open\, you can eat lunch\, or at the park’s famous blue door where you can easily return home or carry on exploring the city. \nThe weather is unpredictable at this time of the year\, so bring a rain poncho or the like and wear good walking shoes. Bring your SL card\, a bit of cash for coffee and/or lunch\, and some water. \nDon’t forget to RSVP before 6th of May to reserve your spot! We look forward to seeing you!

DESCRIPTION:Swedes love to have days dedicated to the celebration of a specific delicacy and the 15th of May is Kardemummabullens dag! It’s a day you shouldn’t miss because kardemummabullar\, or cardamom buns\, are Swedes’ favorite since the ‘50s. \nOur event manager will guide you through a tasting experience at different spots around the capital. While exchanging experiences about moving and living in Sweden\, we will find out more about Stockholm and its food culture. After visiting three bakeries\, we will rank the best bun tasted\, so don’t forget to take notes! \nEvent details  \nThe event is free to join\, you just need to cover the costs of your own food and drink at any of the stops you like. \nWe will meet up at 10:45 at “Vete-Katten”. The tour will take two hours\, so remember to bring water and wear comfortable shoes. The walking itinerary is around 2 kilometers long with pauses. \nRemember to RSVP to reserve your spot and feel free to bring your family.

DESCRIPTION:Step up your fika game with… a game! Join us on Sunday\, May 22\, and meet other expats in Stockholm over a coffee! To make things interesting\, we will also play a game. \nThe rules are easy. First\, we write words on pieces of paper and put them into the hat. Then people split into two teams. Each turn someone from a team gets 30 seconds to explain as many words from the hat as possible without saying the exact word or its synonyms. The team that gets the most words wins. Come and join us\, it will be fun! \nEvent details \nWe will meet at 10:55 at Flickorna Helin café and play for about an hour and a half. \nThe event is free to join but you need to cover the costs for your food and drinks.
