SUMMARY:Light Festival at Brunnsviken
DESCRIPTION:Join us as we explore the local traditions of Sweden. When twilight falls\, people gather to light up the November darkness in Hagaparken and around Brunnsviken. The Light Festival is an opportunity to experience Brunnsviken with light and singing. There will be a torchlight procession from Lappkärrsberget to Bergianska trädgården. \nAll are welcome so put on that warm coat\, grab an umbrella\, and join in on this special occasion. Bring your own torches or purchase them at the park entrance (1 for 30kr or 2 for 50kr). Food\, beverages and torches at own expense. Be on the look out for the Grow Team holding the Grow Internationals sign. We will be waiting for you at Wenner-Gren Center\, Sveavägen 166\, 102 31 Stockholm. \nRsvp by November 2nd at 12:00pm. \nSee you there!

DESCRIPTION:Join us as we visit one of Stockholm’s secret treasures… the Royal Armoury. \nThe Royal Armoury boasts a wide range of historical artefacts depicting the royal history of Sweden from the 16th Century until the present day. Weapons\, armour\, suits and carriages tell of events and people during 500 years of Swedish and international history. The new exhibition is about the monarchy and how it has been able to legitimise its powers and justify its existence throughout the years. It tells of famous victories\, dramatic moments and spectacular ceremonies. We will have a nice fika after the exhibition. \nEveryone is welcome. The Grow Team will meet you at the main entrance before we entering the exhibition\, to travel back in time.
