DESCRIPTION:Grow internationals welcomes you to another cultural event – a memorial concert by the Icelandic composer Kjartan Sveinsson\, a former keyboardist for the Icelandic post-rock band Sigur Rós. \nKjartan Sveinsson’s work Der Klang der Offenbarung des Göttlichen (The Sounds of the Revelation of the Divine) will be performed by the Swedish choir Haga Motettkör for the first time\, together with musicians from the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra. The concert will also include choral and instrumental music signed by other Icelandic composers: Jóhann Jóhannsson\, Ólafur Arnalds\, Anna Þorvaldsdóttir\, Jón Leifs and Jón Nordal. \n\n\nEvent details: \nThis event is free of charge and suitable for the whole family. We’ll meet at 16:40 pm at the entrance of the German Church (Tyska Kyrkan). The concert starts at 17:00 and is an hour and a half long. \nWe look forward to seeing you there!

We can play games offered at the cafe\, or bring your own to share with the group! Let’s discover Swedes’ bittersweet relationship to alcohol and find out more about its history together. Our certified sommelier will guide you around the museum of spirits and explain with easy words the secrets of alcohol and its traditions and trends.
