SUMMARY:International Picnic
DESCRIPTION:Summer is finally here and what better way to enjoy and meet new friends that in the Stockholm outdoors? \nTherefore we planned an international picnic at the beautiful Minneberg Strand.  Only 10 minutes walk from Alvik centre\, where you can admire the beautiful nature and views of the Stockholm bay and you will find a small beach. The place has a sunset views like of a fairy tale. We will be there with our picnic towels and have one double kayak available for those that want to paddle a little and get to see a bit more of the dark bay! For those who enjoy walking and site seen\, the place reserves a stunning nature with different flowers\, birds and garden of apple trees! Definitely it has amazing spots to take pictures. Just bring your camera and have fun!  The menu for the day is international!  Everyone who joins in brings a meal or piece of their own national food to the picnic where we share and sample things from all around the world. You choose what you want to bring\, appetizer\, hot meal\, dessert or anything you want to share from your home or host country. \nSounds nice? Scroll to the end of the page and RSVP at before 10 of June to save your place! \nTo arrive in Minneberg is simple! Take a bus or subway until Alvik station and walk near the beach direction to Minneberg\, we will be waiting for you in front  at Minneberg strand!

SUMMARY:Grow After Work
DESCRIPTION:One of the wonderful things to do during the Swedish summer is going for walks and sunbathing at the decks around the city.  Enjoying the “Mällaren” views  and the warmth of the sun among friends is really amazing! Why not adding some sparkle and bubbles to it? On this event we will meet at Kristnebergs strand bryggan\, from there we will walk to the Kristneberg cliffs\, near to the Tranneberg bridge\, find a nice spot to seat and enjoy the view drinking some bubbles. You can bring the sparkling wine\, cava\, or champagne of your choice. We will have a big towel\, some appetisers and glasses for everybody.  What a better way to celebrate summer?  We hope to see you there! \nIt is very important that you RSVP and confirm your spot before 09 of June. \nDue to the current health regulations for social distancing\,  we need to keep the number of participants in respect to the rules. SUMMARY:Royal City Walking Tour
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a free tour of our beautiful capital\, Stockholm on Sunday 20 of june! \nLooking forward to another interesting walk\, this time through Kungliga Djugården Royal park. We will meet you in the city at the Royal Castle at 10 am to fill you in on the history of the Swedish Royals before hopping on a tram to the island of Djurgården.\n\nAs stated\, we will kick off with a brief history of the Swedish Royals\, then take a short the tram ride from Strandvägen to the Djurgården coastline. We will walk along the shoreline leading to the Wallenberg family house\, one of the most famous families in Sweden\, from there we will walk to the furthest point\, weather permitting. From there we can see the first island in the Stockholm ‘arkipelago’\, fjäderhomen\, where the vodka wars took place. We will then walk through the Royal Park towards the Royal Summer Palaces\, Orangerie and the Biodynamic farm\, Rosendals Trädgård.\n\nThe tour will end at 1pm at Rosendal’s\, where\, if open you can eat lunch\, or at the park’s famous blue door where you can easily return home or carry on exploring this beautiful city.\n\nLastly\, we will go ahead\, even if it rains. At this time of the year the weather is unpredictable\, so bring a rain poncho or the like and wear good walking shoes. Bring your SL card\, a bit of cash for coffee and/or lunch\, and some water.\n\nDon’t forget to RSVP before 18 of  June to reserve your spot!\n\nLooking forward to seeing you there!
