DESCRIPTION:Come join us outside the city for a short hike near Grimsta Nature reserve. We will meet at Blackeberg Centrum and begin our walk towards lake Mälaren\, hike through the forest\, and end our journey at Kanaans Trädgårds Cafe just in time to join their music quiz! Afterwards\, you are free to stay and enjoy the afternoon at the beach – just be sure to bring your bathing suits! This is a great activity open for people of all ages. \nInvite your friends or bring your family! And don’t forget to RSVP by August 25 so that we know you are coming. \nAdditional information \nThe hiking portion is approximately 20 minutes and follows a well-established path. This is a beginner-level hike and suitable for people of all ages. The music quiz is a mix of English and Swedish. It is free to participate\, however\, you will need to bring your own money for food and drink. We will end our event at the Trädgård Café but please feel welcome to stay at the beach (Kanaanbadet) following the event.

We will meet you in front of the Royal Castle at 10 am to fill you in on the history of the Swedish Royals before hopping on a tram from Strandvägen to the Djurgården coastline. We will walk along the shoreline leading to the Wallenberg family house\, one of the most famous families in Sweden. From there we will walk to the furthest point\, weather permitting\, and then continue through the Royal Park towards the Royal Summer Palaces\, Orangerie\, and the Biodynamic farm\, Rosendals Trädgård. \nThe tour will end at 1pm at Rosendal’s\, where if open\, you can eat lunch\, or at the park’s famous blue door where you can easily return home or carry on exploring the city. \nThe weather is unpredictable at this time of the year\, so bring a rain poncho or the like and wear good walking shoes.
