DESCRIPTION:CANCELLED because of snow and ice. \nGet ready for Christmas with us! Come and listen to magical choir singing along the beautiful Gothenburg canal. \n\n\n\nOn December 4\, together we’ll listen to traditional Christmas songs from the classic Paddan boat that slowly cruises through the canal. Everyone is welcome to join – families\, couples\, and friends\, or alone\, come join our Gothenburg Expat Community and get into the Christmas spirit with us. \n\n\n\nEvent details \nWe’ll meet at 15:40 at the bus stop Kungsportsplatsen. The event starts at 16:00 and is an hour and a half long\, so remember to put on warm clothes. \nThis activity is free and open to everyone\, you just have to RSVP below before December 2 to reserve your spot. We look forward to seeing you there!

SUMMARY:Skate and Socialize
DESCRIPTION:Come out for an evening of skating in Kungsträdgården! \nWe will be meeting outside the ice rink before getting skates and lacing up to go on the ice! Skates are available for rent by the hour\, and as a group\, we will rent for one hour (ice skating can be quite the workout!). We will skate together\, but you are welcome to take breaks and rest anytime you would like. \nEvent details \nWe will meet at 4:30pm outside Kungsträdgården Ice Rink on December 4th. After an hour on the ice\, we will turn in our skates and reward ourselves with a hot beverage from a nearby cafe.  \nAdditional information \n Ice skate rental is free to Grow Members. The rental cost for non-members is 70 SEK for adults and 30 SEK for children. The event is suitable for children\, but not toddlers. There are lockers available to rent to store belongings and shoes. \nWe will be walking to the cafe (5 minutes away)\, please wear shoes and clothing for the weather. Feel free to bring your own mask and practice social distancing throughout the event. Please let us know if you feel any symptoms before the event and stay home if you are not feeling well.
